Subject Definition
French is an international language that is easy to learn. It is a good base for learning other languages, (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian) as well as English. Learning another language enriches the mind and opens up new horizons, both personal and in the real world.

Year 5 children were due to attend a French Workshop at St Edmunds in the Summer Term, however this will be
re-scheduled for next year.

Children playing games (board games, card games) reading bi-lingual texts and using French dictionaries, ipads, etc
