Children are encouraged to take part in competitive sport during their time at St Andrews and are invited to attend competitive sporting events within the local area. This is an inclusive approach which endeavours to encourage not only physical development but also mental well-being. These events also develop teamwork and leadership skills and are very much enjoyed by the children.
Impact
The impact of our P.E curriculum is also measured in the uptake of our sports lunchtime, after school and participation in inter school sports competitions. We currently hold Gold Sports Mark for four consecutive years and have recently won the Black Country and West Midland sports award.
