Autumn 2 Year 3

In Year 3 Autumn term 2 the children will be learning all about Tremors! They will be finding out about earthquakes and what happens when a volcano erupts!

In English they will be reading the book The Firework Maker's Daughter and also writing a newspaper report. They will also be writing an adventure story.

In Maths the children will be learning all about multiplication and division. They will learn how to use the formal method when multiplying a two digit number by a one digit number.

In Science the children will be learning all about Rocks and their properties. They will learn how to group and classify different rocks.

In R.E the children will be learning all about different celebrations. This includes the celebration of Guru Nanak's birthday as well as designing their own Rangoli patterns.
