Each week children take part in Jigsaw PSHE lessons. Our school Nurse is Catherine Draycott and she comes into school to deliver lessons that are linked with Healthy Me and Relationships, as well as Parent drop in sessions about any aspect of children’s health. Please contact the school office for her next drop in sessions to make an appointment.

 

Mental health awareness activities

As a school we all take part in a variety of activities learning all about Mental health during the activities the children face challenges and develop a good understanding of how to stay healthy and show compassion for others.

Gardening Club lets us enjoy the challenge of working together and trying new things.

 

Other clubs we can take part in throughout the year include: football, tennis, singing, cooking, arts & crafts, dance, knitting, cricket, multi-skills, karate and many more!

Care Home visits in the local area

 

Children at St Andrews visit a local care home during the year to meet with residents, read stories, share life experiences, play games and at Christmas for carol singing.
